How a job runs

  1. Read the site. Versions, plugins, theme, PHP and hosting, plus the error logs where we can see them. Nothing is changed.
  2. Fixed price. One price for a written scope within 2 business days. Urgent fixes are quoted faster.
  3. Work on staging. Backups first, then the fix or updates on a copy of your site.
  4. Test. The pages, forms and checkout that matter to your business.
  5. Release. Apply to the live site, check it, and send a short note of what changed.

  • WordPress core, plugins and theme brought up to date
  • Replacement of abandoned plugins where needed
  • A PHP version check, and upgrade if your hosting supports it
  • A basic security review: users, file permissions, security headers
  • A written note of every change

Questions we are asked

My WordPress site shows a white screen or a 500 error. Can you fix it?

Yes. These are usually caused by a plugin or theme conflict, a PHP version change or a failed update. We find the cause in the error logs, fix it, and tell you what happened.

Is it safe to update all my plugins at once?

Not on a live site that has gone months without updates. We update on a staging copy first, test the pages and forms that matter, then apply the same updates to the live site.

Do you offer monthly maintenance?

Not at the moment. We quote each job at one fixed price, such as bringing a site fully up to date or fixing a specific problem.

My site has been hacked. What should I do?

Email support@webopsfoundry.co.uk straight away so we can treat it as urgent. Do not send passwords by email; we will send you a secure way to share access.
